Before transferring your First Claim status to Crowborough Runners, you will need to apply to England Athletics on your myMembership portal page. We are unable to process your application until we have received confirmation from EA that your transfer has been approved.
After applying to join the Club, you will be sent an email from noreply@englandathletics.org inviting you to pay your membership fee online by debit or credit card using Stripe, the secure online payment gateway for the Club arranged via England Athletics.
Your completed, signed and dated membership form will be sent by email to the Club Membership Secretary, Ron Cutbill ron.crowboroughrunners@btinternet.com and the Club Treasurer, Sarah Hilliard sjhilliard@yahoo.com.
When you become a member of Crowborough Runners or renew your membership with Crowborough Runners you will automatically be registered as a member of England Athletics. We will provide England Athletics with your personal data which they will use to enable access to an online portal for you (called myAthletics). England Athletics will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your myAthletics portal (which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings).

When you become a member you also become entitled to a Club running vest to be worn when representing the Club at running events, such as Sussex Grand Prix and East Sussex Sunday Cross Country League (ESSCCL) events.
The Club is open to all, irrespective of racial or religious background. The Club adheres to UK Athletics Welfare, Child Protection and Equity Policies - statements can be viewed on our web-site or are available on request.

I declare that I am an amateur according to the following definition: “An amateur is one who has never competed for a money prize, or monetary consideration, in any athletic sport or game or been in any way interested in a staked bet or wager made in connection with any athletic competition in which he/she was an entrant or competitor: who has never engaged in, assisted or taught any athletic exercise for pecuniary consideration, or in any way exploited his/her athletic ability for profit and who has never taken part in any athletic competition with anyone who is not an amateur.”
