Perfect Tens, a race that’s really taken off and the Hastings 5 “Ice Cream” dash

On the Mayday bank holiday Ollie and Eileen smashed the Hildenborough Ten miler. Eileen was second lady in 79 mins and Ollie 7th overall in 64. In Essex James and Sharon ran the inaugural Witham 10 with Sharon running a PB in 90 and James doing 86, his fastest Ten for a long time ( and Essex isn't all flat). Tony Lavender followed up by completing the Burgess Hill 10K

On May 12th, 9 Crows flew down to Hastings to take on the fast and flat Hastings five miler. Is five miles enough to justify scoffing large ice creams after the event? Meanwhile in West Sussex 6 Crows flew to the Run Gatwick festival with five flyers in the half and Terry completing a PB of 22 mins in the 5k and our very own BA Flight Attendant Louise landing a well deserved 1.56PB.(Remind me to take a long haul flight and get no sleep before my next half ed). The event is one that has really taken off attended by celebrity athletes Colin Jackson and Dina smiley Asher-Smith. Alex Cole completed a paced Henley hills trail half mara in 1:55 following a very long cycle ride the day before
